Explore an infinite number of ever-changing new lands, expand your settlements from sprawling villages to vast cities and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. ISLANDERS is a minimalist strategy game about building cities on colorful islands. Explore the hidden mysteries of the Universe and gather your people together once again.Ĭombining fast-paced action with strategic battle planning, Darwinia features a novel and intuitive control mechanism, a graphical style ripped from 80's retro classics like Tron and Defender, and a story concerning a tribe of nomadic sprites trapped in a modern 3D world. Raise and lower land to expand your tribes, harness the power of fire and water. Reprisal Universe places you in charge of the very elements themselves. 10/10 would buy again! No but seriously, fun, in some way simple god simulator but with a few mechanics that need strategy! only thing i dont like is that the AI is sometimes a lil dumb, and takes bit too much time to build the things you need to progress.I have gathered a small list of games that share similar aesthetics and mechanics. Burned all the trees from the Village and killed 2 of them, now i have 1 human. I created life, provided food, didn’t teach them how to farm, everyone died! I created life, provided food, taught them farming, they built roads, boats, then ran out of cards and everyone died! I created life, provided food, unleashed a bear, and everyone died! Got 3 humans. Then they’ll build a house next to it that will also cause a bunch of people to freeze to death. If I have a snow tile with a tree in it, the AI keeps sending naked guys to chop it down who all freeze to death. I’ll have plenty of cloth, and clothes just don’t get made. Simmiland Direct Play:Īlso, I can’t tell if this is a bug or your civ is programmed to be stupid, but there’s an issue with clothing. And your stupid civ will mess it up by building roads and you can’t do anything to remove or destroy them. Then there are other buildings/ that require certain terrain features (oil refinery, smelter, sulpher deposit) that won’t be built unless the surrounding tiles are correct. Its rare, but the market sometimes never gets built for me. Sometimes your civ will never build a building they’re smart enough to make and you’ve made a discovery for. The only problem I’ve found with Simmiland is sometimes the AI is a little too dumb or buggy. If you built the time space warp, your people do escape and survive. I thought the last buildings your civ makes serves no purpose and there’s no satisfying end if you get that far. Having played more, some of my older complaints turned out to be wrong. The way you shape the land and guide the humans will decide which way the humans will develop. The inspect card will trigger an invention that will help the humans explore your world further. This card can be played on items, objects and sometimes just on empty tiles. One may wish for a berry bush and another for a deadly plague One of the more important cards is the ‘inspect’ card. Try to experiment as much as you can! Playing cards costs ‘faith’ that you gain from the humans when they periodically pray for you, or when you fulfill their wishes. Playing a plant on a grass biome tile will result in a wheat plant, but playing a plant card somewhere else will also create something else. Watch how mankind develops! What the heck is Simmiland? In Simmiland you create a small civilization that you can only influence indirectly by playing cards to the land, such as plants and minerals.
